I Fish this fly the same as any other nymph, but what I like about it is that the bead is very much the same as peacock herl and therefore creates a more natural look to the nymph. Since the bead is also lighter that a gold or silver bead it allows you to fish the fly at the same depth throughout the retrieve.

To fish this fly I find a slow figure of eight works best at any depth. There is one tip, after each take you get check the tail has not twisted round the bend of the hook. Straighten before you re cast.
