March Brown Klinkhammer Size #14 MP13

£1.09

The March Brown likes large stony rivers just like stoneflies.
{In Depth Product Description}
The March Brown likes large stony rivers just like stoneflies. This is why in England it is completely unknown on the Southern Chalk streams and still water lakes or ponds. Hatches are often on a grand scale in the middle of a spring day. The March Brown pattern is one of the oldest angling flies around. Look for hatches of the March Brown in the late spring just after lunch time. Meurig has tied the Klinkhammer trout dry fly version of this fly on a Klinkhammer hook.
Fish this fly individually, "New Zealand" style or off a dropper with a small nymph as a point fly. Fished this way the fly can also act a bite indicator. The fly should have floatant applied to the hackle fibres only to sit correctly in the water and false casts made to dry the fly anytime a trout or grayling take this dry fly. As with all dry flies fish with a full floating line and long leader, minimum of 9 feet ideally tapered.
Available in size #14 only
