The pheasant tail nymph is one of the all time best trout flies. This particular is dressed on a size #18 making it small enough to be an exceptional river fly. The peacock thorax is a real hitting spot for brown trout and grayling. Steve from CudaFly uses this fly regularly on the river Dee in North Wales with great success.
