New for the 2011 season. The Stonfo Elite Disc Drag System bobbin holder is a top quality weighted stainless steel bobbin holder with quick adjusting disc-drag system which allows for perfect thread tension with a hardened steel tube to prevent fraying.

This product was reviewed in the December 2010 issue of the "Trout & Salmon" magazine in the "Tackle Shop" - "Fly Tying" section as below.
"The machined and weighted bobbin holder has a hardened steel tip insert to prevent fraying and wear and a countersunk feed that allows your tying silk to glide easily through the tube when threading and tying. It also has excellent tension control, which is easily adjusted to suit the strength of your thread. While being suitable for different sizes of spools this holder will take a little longer to swop threads but it will, when properly adjusted, protect the finest of silks from the heaviest of hands. To fit a bobbin, unscrew the tension adjuster and the neighbouring end spooler. Pop the bobbin on (take off any labels), re-fit the end spooler and tension adjuster, set the desired tension and away you go."
