Freemans Fancy
Freeman’s Fancy Trout Fly – It has been a really busy weekend tying flies commissioned by our CudaFly customers. This fly the Freeman’s Fancy is an old pattern mentioned in “a dictionary of trout flies” by A Courtney Williams. Williams mentioned that Captain W Freeman invented the fly around 1900 and was surprised that it wasn’t better known, as …it was so effective on loughs.
