Another great fly that will no doubt take a good few fish. I am not really a lure fisher, preferring to use buzzers and nymphs but I may be tempted to make an exception with this one. Well done and tight lines for 2011.

This is a great little fly and it is one that I have used myself in the past and it will always get you a fish or two when other are struggling. I have never tried using guard hair but I will be giving it a go soon.

My favourite pattern is a black one and it never lets me down.

Super fly and well tied, and as usual great post. Cheers and tight lines for 2011.

What a cracking fly! I’ve already tied up several variants and I’m really looking forward to trying them on my local still water. I’m sure the movement of the wings on their side will prove tempting to some chunky fish- I’ll keep you posted!

checked your site out and it looks great – well done.
To fix the submit button I did the following

1. Goto station pro – custom code – custom css – css rules.
2. Paste in the following code in the css rules box

input[type="submit"], #searchform input#searchsubmit {
display:block;}

3. Click “save options”

This option worked here and hope it works for you. Send a response and tell me how you get on.
