Fishing has picked up with the better weather. Tiny buzzers through to tadpole and lures have been successful. Lots of midges about and people have caught on dry fly as well. The fly fishing is picking up nicely and people are catching on black buzzers as small as size 16 with orange being the best colour for lures. Blackdyke trout fishery is in top form at the moment with more anglers on the bank the fish have spread out across the lake close to the margins.
